Wouldn’t it be great to have Adele come out and sing “Make You Feel My Love”? during the bride and groom’s dance, or Jennifer Lopez starting the party with her hit “On the Floor”?

You can. But you’re going to need a few million dollars.

A musician singing at a wedding isn’t new; in fact it happens all the time.  But is it really worth it to have a musician perform at a wedding?

Let’s take a look at how much it costs to have some of the most expensive wedding singers perform at your wedding.

Adele – for 25 minutes, you can have Adele and her soul-breaking voice pierce everyone in the room for a measly $3.78 million. Hmm. $3.78 million for 25-minutes breaks down to around $149,430 a minute, so maybe she is a little pricey. I think we’d all like “Someone Like You” if you can afford to have Adele at your wedding.

Elton John – To hear Sir Elton John jam out on a Steinway and Sons, which is extra cost of course, will run you around a $1 million, which was the price paid to him to perform at Rush Limbaugh’s wedding in 2010. With up-tempo songs like “Honkey Cat” and “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting” and slow songs like “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” and “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me,” this could be a relatively steal at $1 million. But after getting the bill, it might make you turn into a “Madman Across the Water.”

Jennifer Lopez – The forever sexy Lopez will be sure to put on a show and get the crowd pumped up when she sings “Let’s Get Loud,” but your pocket might get thin after spending $3.18 million on a Wedding performance. People might think “Ain’t it Funny” that someone could spend $3.18 million on a short performance, but after all, “Love Don’t Cost a Thing.”

DJ Calvin Harris – This Scottish DJ has been blazing up the charts with his outstanding album “18 Months,” and his services at your wedding comes with a cost – $484,224. A report comes out from the says that’s how much he’ll cost at the wedding for the daughter of Formula One billionaire Bernie Ecclestone, Tamara. Nothing will bring a couple together more than his live performance of “Feel So Close,” but after he takes his cool half a million bucks his encore will leave you with “Sweet Nothing.”

Sure there is more to this list, including a report that the Rolling Stones as for a whopping $8 million for a wedding performance, but these are our favorites.
